this is exactly what i was refering too. a cam and heads on the 6.1 will net you over 500hp, or there abouts. which would cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3g.

seems like the only purpose to spending all that money on the 426 (or any aftermarket engine for that matter) would be for bragging rights. especially once a viable forced induction system comes out. for 8,000$ you will be able to get a blower, heads, cam for your 6.1. and be running somewhere around 600hp. thats still half the price of the 426.
