i've tried and still am currently using all 65W bulbs... until u said that, i thought 65w was the factory wattage not 42W, but i never have looked it up... i just went off of what ppl here said... (i hate it when i do that) but, it's usually right... anyway, i haven't had any problems with 65w... just screw them in straight and make sure they aren't touching any of the housing, and u should be fine...
