For warranty work you are of course stuck with the Chrysler dealer's service department; but for repairs and routine maintenance that you pay for (such as both of the examples you gave) you definitely DO NOT have to use a Chrysler dealership! Why not go to a good independent repair facility; in my experience you are much more likely to get satisfactory or even outstanding service from an independent shop. At least in my case the 300C hasn't required much in the way of warranty repairs. It would be terrible to give up on such a fantastic car just because the dealer is lousy.
