possible issue with low RPMs at idle
I have an '07 300C with approximately 4200 miles on the clock -- all stock except for a Mopar drop-in filter. I have noticed the idle speed from EVIC shows around 520-530rpm, and other times it hovers around 600-620.
Thankfully there have been no stumbles when it gets down to the low 500's, but I'm concerned that might be a little low. From doing searches on the Forums, I see that the RPMs at idle for the 5.7 have a pretty broad range (from 500rpm to 650rpm).
Should I be concerned about it dropping into the low 500rpm range? I use Shell 89 octane consistently, and there have been no issues with performance.
Thanks in advance,
Phil C.
