The sunroof is closed. When its opened it doesn't do it...

Try wiping the rubber seal down with Silicone Spray. Mine was making an annoying noise when closed; lubricating the gasket fixed it completely.

Not a bad idea to do this once a year with the door seals too, especially if you live in a cooler climate. The noise is caused by the rubber gaskets rubbing against the metal as the body flexes slightly over bumps, etc.


edit: I just saw post #12; same idea but I WOULD NOT USE ARMOR ALL. It will cause the seals to dry out an become brittle prematurely. I would use only pure Silicone Spray. NAPA part #8300. Some other brands have other chemicals besides silicone but the Napa one is pure silicone spray.
