I will jump in here for a minute. I don't know how many coats he used in that application, but I can tell you one coat will provide up to 6 months of protection. These guys that talk about "layering" are only wasting product. Once you get passed 3 layers, every time you add another layer, you are removing one. That is why synthetic polymers were intorduced, so you can have superior protection without all the work. Gary
