"Best way" - wash the car. Period. Anything else, you WILL mar the surface. Perhaps only so-called "micromarring". But even micromarring adds up over time - most ESPECIALLY on dark colors, with black being the absolute worst...
Next best way - use Quick Detailer spray and a GOOD quality microfiber terry towel. The Meguires Quick Detailer is acceptable OTC detailer spray.
Next best - the Calif Car Duster or its equivelent.
