More details:

Measurements from the rim protector to the tread surface measured vertically (+/- 1/16):
Goodyear RSA 245/45/20 w/ 8/32nd tread left - 2.5"
Nitto Invo 255/45/20 new - 3.25"
Nitto Invo 275/40/20 new - 3.25"

The Invos look huge because they are 1.5" taller. This should account for the tires feeling super soft and un-responsive in hard corners.

I spent some more time on the tires today and the grip is good it is just the "squishy" feeling I can not get over. This tire combo feels like it will roll off the rim even though it sticks well.

If anyone happens to have the measurements for the Falken FK-452 or Toyo Proxes from the rim protector to the tread surface measured vertically, that would be awesome.

If anybody has access to sidewall measurements for any of the 255/35/20 or 275/35/20 or 275/30/20 that are available that would be great.
