I just purchased a set of tires off of tiredeals4less. 14K on the first set of tires (standard F1's) however I did receive quite a bit of outside wear on the front tires. Once I get the Toyo's on, I'm going to take it to the dealer for the alignment TSB (it also pulls to the right) and see if that doesn't fix the wear.
The nice thing, is that my wife thought she was doing me a favor and had my tires rotated. I'm running 255's in the front and the 245's are in the rear. I'm not even going to ask what the shop that did they job was thinking (or was not thinking!)  |
I appreciate the kind words diesel powered. I got an alignment done at a private shop after new tires, if you have to spring for it out of your own pocket, I'd ditch the dealer and go to the best place you know of. A road-force balance and alignment at the best shop in Cincy made my car feel much better than new. It tracks so straight and smooth now.
