i have 22"x9.5" rims with a 15mm offset and i lowered my car with the eibach sportline kit which is 2" all around, and i packed people in my car and went 20 miles over speed bumps and all and i didnt even rub once. So i dont think you would need it, but if you want to be on the safe side so whats posted above doesnt happen, get your fenders rolled.
