i live in canada and can go through a foot of snow with my rwd and 255 55 18 proxes s/t which are not the best for snow as most people will tell you, i do need about 150 pouunds in the trunk though. With awd and snow tire you will have no problems, if you go with 255 55 18 you have lots of choices and could probibly find a cheaper set due to the selection
