There had been a slight shimmy in my 2006 300C/with 22's between 60-65 MPH (it went away over 65). I was told this was normal and paid no attention to it. When I had my tires rotated I went to a shop that used a balancing machine that not only spun the wheel at high speed but had a
an internal rotating surface that applied 1200 pounds of "load". It sounds like they may have used the same type machine on your car...but if they didn't
my car has no shimmy now.
