I think you are right on the money. Unfortunately, Goodyear did not have the cajones to step up and simply replace ALL of the tires on your car with ones that would solve the problem.

I think that these manufacturers (and it's not just Goodyear) have badly underestimated how the internet gives power to the informed consumer.

Google this subject, and this forum and these type of threads come up.

The net really empowers all of us in a way never possible just a few years ago.
