The only thing I can assure you is that the low temp coating is less durable.
I have never heard of this question, as most alloys love some heat. They serve as heat sinks for your brakes, and the hubs and near centers get WAYYYY over 400 degrees on the track!
I'd be more concerned about damaging the powder coat during extreme driving.
