UPDATE: I installed the 91 CAI, raised rev limiter to 6450 and raised upshifts, which now shift out in autoshift about 6,100-6,200 rpms. Best to date: 0-60@5.36; 1/4 @ 13.98; speed in 1/4
@ 106.2. I have not added or changed spark or fuel, but would it help if I were to add 1 or 2% fuel at WOT upper rpms to keep it from running too lean, or is this unnecessary?
What effect should this current setting have on city/hwy mileage assuming the car is driven very gently? Will it get better or worse mpg?
Anyone compared before and after installation gas mileages? I can now feel the MDS kick in with the 91 CAI octane setting. I do have the CAI installed as of yesterday. Thanks for your replies.
