running a relay is your best bet since this will limit the added current drawn through the parking lights circuit. go into Autozone or some auto parts store and it shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks. i have looked at the AAC halos but haven't got them yet since I'm not yet cmfortable with the dismantling of my headlights that they say you have to do. i have dual compact airhorns on my C in place of the stock units and used relays to power them. just run 12 gauge wire or so from the jump start lug by the fuse box and put dielectric grease on the terminals of the relay.
