Initially I went to purchase a 5.7 V8. Just out of curiosity, I took a Diesel for a run. Just for a hoot. I was so impressed with its performance and fuel economy and low down torque, I was sold. I also tow a caravan, so this really suited me. I don't think a petrol V8 could ever return 11.3 Ltr per 100km towing at 100klm/hr if it tried.
