...an LED light (if it is that) should rarely if at all burn out. LED's are designed to last forever providing the resistor that feeds it has the right value. If you feed an LED more it will die. It sounds to me like these LED kits are not made properly and dont take into consideration the amount of LEDS per bank and their respective resistor values. LED (light emitting diode) should require approx 1.2 -1.3V from a matched resistor. The voltage supply to the LED is the key here. Feeding it too much?? You will kill the lights. Feed then the right amount, they will last forever. Hope this helps you all.
