The torque curve is obcene looking, and I almost can't bear to look at it. You had me sold about three posts ago. I am going to continue to ask a lot of questions because (a) I am going to buy the kit in the very near future, and (b) this forum needs a knowledge base. Its quiet on the technical side. Like I said before, the price is right. GSM just announced a great looking manifold integrated twin screw unit and Kenne Bell is supposedly building another - however I can guarantee they will not be able to come anywhere near the price range of this unit. That is if you guys continue to price it in the $6k range. There's no touching it.
- Is the turbo unit itself cooled or oiled?
- How difficult is the installation. It seems like its mostly undercar and pulling the rear bumper panel off.
- On another thread, different forum, someone had asked about drainage holes for the inlet pipe. Sounds like a reasonable question, but is it really necessary? You say the car has 20K with the unit installed?
- There isn't a CMR tuner within 800 miles of me, and it makes me sick. I don't want to have to spend money on a vacation to California or Virginia when I could be spending the money on the parts. Therefore, I am hoping you'd be able to work with a remote tuning shop. I have a local tuner whom I entrusted my Vette to. The guy is great. He's got a Mustang dyno and internet access and would be willing to spend a day tuning this thing with someone. I will purchase a Predator. Can we make a remote tune work?
And thanks again for taking the time to answer questions.
