Just had my cars first service @ 7500mls after 13 months ( I don't do the mileage). The invoice shows Synthetic Oil (Low Ash ) . They also supplied a 1Ltr top up pack of Shell Helix Ultra AX which I trust is the same as used for the service. Cost of the oil was £11.06 per ltr plus Vat but they gave me a loyalty discount of 15% which is something I suppose.
Total cost for the service £311.42 inc VAT.
How does that compare with others?

Only in Britain do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds on the drive and lock our junk and cheap lawn mower in the garage.
We also have a tendency to drive a foreign car, drink Australian beer in an Irish pub, grab an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, where we sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. Rule Brittania
