Sometimes I'm not so sure that I like my SRT8

Hi Guys!!

Like the subject line says...

Sometimes I'm not so sure that I like my SRT8. I find it frustrating. Then it dawned on me - it's the TIRES I don't like. Well... 'not like' is a bit strong. How about 'find annoying'. They're fine tires - don't get me wrong - they just take a long time - it seems - to 'warm up'. And when they finally do - the SRT8 is a JOY to drive. It's almost a 'night and day' difference. But until then - the tires feel HARD as if they have 50 lbs of pressure in them - and have a tough time sticking to anything. Anything beyond just gingerly pressing on the gas pedal and the tires SPIN SPIN SPIN. Well.. at least until the traction control takes over. Like I said... it's frustrating. It seem to take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to warm up. Sometimes even longer. So I was wondering.....

Do the Goodyear F1 'SuperCar' tires take longer to warm up and actually STICK to the road than most other tires? Or is that just typical of any summer 'performance' tire? And short of giving the neighbours a 'smoke show' - is there a way to warm up the tires faster?!

Thanks,
Craig!!
