he suggested instead of building a shield around the filter, which they tested and found no benefit to, to cover the AIT(air intake sensor) with some shielding. to do this because of how close the AIT is to the manifold making it more susceptible to the heat.
he suggested to do either this or move the AIT closer to the filter. dont really want to do that though.
i believe their new design may incorporate this move.
he also rumored at a new filter design meant to replace the original. it will bolt on to our existing intake pipe.
darn companies and their technological advancement. my wallet will not be happy.
