No way Steve, Our "socialist" Government who are supposed to have the concerns of the downtrodden and poor in our midst just cut the basic rate of income tax to 20% from 22% BUT at the same time did away with a threshold tax rate for the lower paid at 10% - end product is a general reduction in the tax liability on those with a decent wage and an increase in the tax liability for the poor. Just a thought but could you not add Gordon Brown to your presidential election contenders - you can have him free of charge - we don't want him.
Germany has good roads - but you must have been in a very select part of the UK to reckon our roads were good. Especially in Scotland we have major trunk roads connecting main cities that are single undivided carriageway in each direction.
Boy have I a chip on my shoulder tonight!!
