This bloody UK government dont only tax the fuel we have to buy, they steal a fortune in vehicle excise duty (which used to be road a fund licence originally intended to do just that - fund the roads). Now it all cash gets swallowed up in the general pot of income tax, and is then frittered away on needless projects which are always always always under budgeted just for the green light and then end up costing us the poor tax payer double or treble the billions of pounds. As John has already mentioned, with our politicians - WE pay and they PLAY. I love driving my car and as long as I can afford it I will continue.
Now then, can someone remind me what date is the revolution due to start, I'd hate to miss it.

Only in Britain do we leave cars worth thousands of pounds on the drive and lock our junk and cheap lawn mower in the garage.
We also have a tendency to drive a foreign car, drink Australian beer in an Irish pub, grab an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, where we sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. Rule Brittania
