Thanks for the advice. What I was actually thinking of doing is unbolting the entire caliper assembly from the rotor via the adapter bracket - that way I don't have to worry about the guide pins. I don't want to take them completely off though, just hang them underneath while I paint em. Any suggestions on this idea?
