Any auto parts store will have the "red back" mounting tape - its the grey foam stuff.

As far as the temp, it was a bit cool that day, but well into the 70's when I did it. I left my car out all morning to heat up. I will try the heat trick maybe with a work light or something - but to be honest the thing will not budge an inch right now - its on for good - that stuff is iron!
