that's what the dealership called it actually it's "Simoniz System 5 with Dupont Teflon Surface Protector" (i found my paperwork), i'd never heard of it. they did the inside and outside. on the inside it's suppose to protect against stains, outside the same. i paid an extra $200 for it and it covers me against "...acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, road salt, all insects, sun exposure, fading, chalking and loss of gloss". i want to know it the clay bar procedure will take off this treatment along with the leftover dirt? With the Teflon the stuff that the clay bar is taking off shouldn't be left on the paint anyway right? Nothing is suppose to stick to Teflon right? So in theory if the Simoniz does what it's suppose to do regular washing is all i would need?
