So far I have done my own, I save receipts and keep a log. $59 is not bad if they are using synthetic however my dealer only charges $19.95 so I could bring my own Mobil 1, get a discount for not using thier oil and save a few$$, considering the cost of the car, really rather silly to go to the trouble. I change my own because I enjoy it and I bond with the car and teach the kids a few tricks. The engine cover is held with 4 simple 10mm bolts.

Consider getting a Filtermag magnet, it traps the under 20 micron metal dust that passes through even the best synthetic filters. Cummins showed that particles 10 microns and less are as damaging as the over 20 micron ones.
