We are always looking for new Pedders Quality Dealers. The first and most important criteria is that the shop must have eXtreme Customer Service as the cornerstone of their business culture. We can teach installation Best Practices. We can teach the finer points of alignments. We cannot change the business culture. If you have a shop in mind, please let me know. We take very good care of clients that assist us in our Dealer Development efforts.
After all that, you find Kenny and Mike and the entire crew at Waukegan Tire to be exceptional people. They are a family owned business. Jerry, the owner, must be 70 years young. He is a shop equipment techno junkie. They have the only Bluetooth, torque wrench system in the country that is integrated to the business main frame. The tolerance for proper wheel lug torque is down to I think three pounds. The wrench 'talks' to the tech and they have to torque each lug nut withing a couple of pounds to allow the front end to close out the ticket. You get a print out of each lugs torque value... then there are the flush to the floor alignment racks... WT is worth a four hour drive.
