Hello everyone, this is my first post to this forum. I think this forum is a great source of info for the SRT-8.

Just wanted to comment on the dealers gettng above MSRP (which I don't agree with). I first found my car by using the Chrysler webite inventory search. That was on March 21st but I waited to go see the car until March 25th. It is a Bright Silver 05 with all options. The car had only 15 miles on it and the dealer had marked it up by 5K. I told the salesman I would not pay any more than MSRP and he said he would have to check with the owner of the dealership. The owner said 2K over MSRP was the lowest he would go. I said that it was not good enough and gave the salesman my name and number in case they changed their mind. On my way driving home (I only got halfway from the dealer) I got a call from the salesman who said "OK, you can have the car for MSRP". So I went back and bought the car!

I guess I just got lucky, but I held my ground and the dealer came down to MSRP. I have 2700 miles on the car now and absolutely love it...
