It would have to be done in software. In "real cars" (pre computer days), the horn was simply activated by grounding the end of the horn circuit with the horn switch. No more...in the LX pressing the switch sends data to the computer which then sends a command to horn module to blow the horn. With the ignition switch in the OFF position the module does not get/act on the horn switch input. I don't think there is anything electrical in the LX that is directly activated by a switch - it all seems to by data commands on the CAN bus. Makes modding the electrical system a real chalange. I was so annoyed by this "feature" I filed a safety complaint with the NTSB about. (Didn't do any good but got it out of my system.)
