I look at gas prices like this; what is the next acceptable car you would drive, figure it's gas mileage savings, and then compare the comfort, pleasure of ownership, fun between the two. Sometimes, the savings might be a lot, but you have to give up the joy of driving.... high fuel costs are just the price of happiness. So I stopped even looking at the price of gas, as some here may know, since I just like to drive this car instead of a fuel efficient Honda or the like.
Maybe that mindset might ease some of your pain... just trying to help...

exactly! right now it costs me about $130 to gas up and you already know how many miles you get with a full tank in the hemi if you drive it like you're supposed to
like you said, i stopped looking at the gas prices cause i want to have fun driving the car, otherwise i would have bought a diesel or something.
but you can actually still consider yourself lucky over there in the US, cause i'm paying like 1.45 euros per liter right now, that's about $2,30 per liter, thats liter not gallon!!
