I bought a couple of
these in chrome, screwed them to the car and stuck my plates on with outdoor double sided tape.
I had no problems with the bend in the front plate as it was about 3mm longer than the aperture on the number plate trim which allowed it to be tucked in and held under the trim thus reducing the stress on the tape.
Oh, BTW I got my plate V121 ANM about 7 or 8 years ago from the DVLA for about £200.
