some quick answers:

i wired the halos to the turn signal bulbs - they go on with the parking lights, and the headlights. simple and easy, and works great

i used GE silicone II to reseal the lights

my headlights are sylvania silverstar projector bulbs - i dont have hids. it used to bug me not having hids, but now that i have the halos, the projectors make the halos stand out alot at night - i dont think ill move to hid headlights because i feel they take away from the look of the halo rings.

i didnt have any "problems" with the install, but it wasn't easy. taking apart the headlights was tough, and i had to put the pieces of the light into the oven multiple times to soften up the residual silicone so i could scrape it off and clean it up. however, opening the lights wasnt as impossible as some have made it out to be. i got both lights open, rings mounted, and sealed back up all in one evening.

as for the color difference, its hit or miss ive noticed. everyone i've shown them to hasnt noticed a color difference until i pointed them out. but being the people on this board are car enthusiasts who have an eye to detail, i can see why it would bug or bother you guys more than the average joe. as annoyed as i was by the color difference, i had no choice but to take a chance and do it. i couldnt be without my car for a few weeks while aac sent me new lights, and i wasnt about to reseal headlights i just spent time cracking open without installing the rings. however, the color difference has grown on me and i like the 2 different colors. to me it doesn't look "bad" it just looks different than what you normally see with these lights. i haven't really spoken to aac in detail about this, but i can't imagine what they'd offer me in compensation, if anything at all.
