Hampshire Pageant of Motoring - Meet?

Does anyone fancy this? it's on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August 2008

I went to this last year with the Mazda RX-8 Owners Club, and it's a really good fun day out for all the family, with plenty of entertainment, stalls, food etc. plus an old house to look around and all set in extensive park lands in addition to loads of classic and modern cars to enjoy and chat to their owners about.

Here's the thing - if we have a "club" stand (which is free) and the driver + a passenger get in free.

I am willing to do the organising "legwork" on this, as long as I can get a volunteer with access to their mail rooms franking machine to send out all the stand passes. Alternatively those interested can send me a SAE for their passes.

Here's what they say about it;

Quote:
For those of you that have attended the pageant before you would agree that this is not just a car
show. It is an event for everyone. In 2008 we have changed all our acts for the main arena and
introduced a brand new programme with some of the finest display and comedy in the country. All
is set for one great weekend with something there for everyone of all ages.
• Over 90 club stands
• Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best club stand
• Free live entertainment to all exhibitors on Sunday night (heated marquee)
• Cars for sale section (please phone for details)
• An enormous selection of Autojumble
• Huge craft marquees
• 100’s of trade stands
• 1st class arena programme
• Air displays
• New supercar section
• Catering for all tastes
• Showers
• Extra exit road
And much more to mention.
Club stands are free of charge.
All club display vehicles admit driver and one passenger free of charge. Any extras will be charged
at £5 for adults and £2 for kids.
Anyone wishing to camp overnight will be charged £10 per caravan/tent per night. This charge
only covers our costs for items such as toilets, skip, security, etc.
All payments for camping are to be paid on arrival (no exemptions).
All passes must be displayed on arrival. If your pass is not displayed then charges will apply.
So Guy's if you want to go to a very good event, please add your name to the list below, without delay as I need to get the application form in urgently.
