wrong color???
|
Hello drewmin,
Just to inform you, i had the halo's also 1 1/2 year ago from aac. At start, the rings were not the same also, the color it was, but not the strenht of light.. ( see picture) After demount the lights again i played a bit with different switchboards. Seeing the electric components i tried to push up the voltage a bit, but i needed a specials transformers wich was to hard to get. Then i searched al info about CCFL lights and found that these lights were also used for case modding in pc's. so nothing special on it..The main problem is that the model of electronics depents on wich lenght of ccfl tube you use.
AAC use 1 switchboard for 2 lights, that is not always sufficient. Its better to use 1 switchboard for 1 lamp. So.. 1 bought these switcboards for only 2.5 euro. ($5)Same size etc, but you can use them for lights up to 40cm.. succes garanteed. for this price AAC should deliver them standard. Its always better to checck the intensity on a bench with a regular power supply, to be sure of the same intensity from 12 - 14.8v btw, i.ve melt on light also because they did forgot to mention the degrees in celsius..okok i should have known better before i started. The complete headlight in holland costs in your currency $1500, so my angel eyes where extra expensive. The more because i get a new 300c this month and cannot swap the old ones...I hope you can do your profit with my experience. Sorry for the terrible pic quality
