Try pressing the brake lightly to see if the rattle/thumping stops.
If it stops, then it is probably a brake problem.
When you take it the dealer, take a technician for a ride to make sure they hear the noise. Otherwise there is high likelihood that you will be told "cannot duplicate customer complaint".
