If the adaptive cruise control is based upon the Mercedes system (& I bet it is!) it should bring you to a dead stop if the car in front stops, however, please don't blame me if it doesn't when you try it out

I've just been to the 'states & picked up the latest 300C brochure, when I get back to Oz, i'll scan it & post it.
