07 Heritage - "Green" removal?

So, is there a way to change out the nasty green steering wheel inserts (and the door handles as well)?
I'm new to the forum as well to "C's", but looking hard for m first. I've got a line on an 07 Heritage in Red, but that green disaster is a deal breaker. I'm not hot on the fake wood either, but MAY be able to live with it if I get the green eyesore out of the car. (of couse, the follow-up question how hard is it to swap the plasti-wood for the standard silver dash insert?... )

Next, how expensive are the parts?

Finally, does anybody know what's up with the Canadian rental cars being brought into the US? Per Chrysler (both US and Canadian departments) the warranty is void once registered in another country, but the dealer says "naaahhh, you have the remainder of the 3/36". I passed on a beauty of a car due to this.. who's right?

Thanks, can't wait to get into a C... I'm impressed!
