You do realize that every congress has a lower approval rating than the president of its time, right? It's the way people think. People vote their own rep highly but Congress as a whole very low, with the thought that "the guy I voted for can't be the one causing the problems"
Can I ask this: you say it's stupid to vote for Obama. What do you think about voting for McCain? (i'm going somewhere with this)
