Not sure about that screw to be honest, on mine there is a plate on one end and once removed you have access to a set of jumper pins, moving the jumper to the right increases the power step by step, I run mine as far right as it will go with a very big difference in power.
Does your box look like it has any such panel, mine is held on with 2 screws.
