It looks like I am getting in on the thread a little too late. I had to replace both front tires at 13,000 miles because of the outer tread wear. I went to an alignment shop before I replaced the tires. Sure enough, the front end was out of alignment (also the rear).

I felt the same way as Humongo about the dealer claiming that I must have done something to screw up the alignment, so I did not even bother to try to get them to help cover the cost of the alignment and the $500 worth of new tires for the front.
