Upon first appearances, this would seem to resolve the above issues as well as provide a compartment for organization.

Are there any comments on whether or not these liners and their matching trunk organizers are actually worth the investment?
What is the downside that I may not be seeing ?
Coincidentally, I picked one up last week....so far, I love it.

The positives:
1) If anything were to spill you could just wipe it up.
2)I like the way both sides behind the wheel well are sectioned off, it's perfect to put my napsack (I have a 22 month old, it's my male version of a diaper bag.)
3) It does give the trunk a more finished look much like what the 22elite cover does for the center console.

The negatives:
1) If you have the trunck loaded up with crap... good luck if you get a bad flat and need to access the spare.

2) My car (a 2005 w/ 17,000 miles) was my dad's car (dad passed away in March)...dad was a handy type of guy and would often fold down one of the rear seats and go pick up wood at Home Depot for some project.... I am not sure how the lip on the mat affect sliding stuff through to the passenger compartment.

For me, since I have a 98 Durango.... I'll use that for the Home Depot / LOWES trips.
