Check for worn tension strut bushings. They are covered under warranty. Mine developed a tear which is clearly visible. I have a Aug 2004 built car and both of the tension strut bushings failed after about 39k miles. The pic is the driver side bushing.
The bushings did not cause any noises or obvious handling issues.
I just happened to see the tear.
