hey, big props to IIKings, as he got me thinking about my oil.
I have used factory recommended 0W-40 for the first 4 changes, then tried the 15W-50 due to EXTREME oil squirter noise. Didn't do much to the noise at all, and definitely hurt economy, probably HP, too.
Switched to 20W-50 Amsoil Racing oil, changed the noise a little but was getting some top end noise at start up, and still thinking it was too thick.
Switched to Amsoil 5W-40 Euro Formula and couldn't be happier. Quieter valve gear and rev happy HP, and best of all, almost no noise!
