Here's the EPA ratings for the 300C:

OLD SYSTEM: RWD – 17/25; AWD – 17/24 (Reflects EPA methods for 2007 and prior model years)

NEW SYSTEM: RWD – 15/23; AWD – 15/22 (Reflects new EPA methods for 2008 model years and beyond)

You also have to remember these are large SUV's we're talking about here, so you can't very well compare the 300C ratings.
