With the HID's, it takes a while for them to warm up to full brightness, so you'll get a dim flicker from the HID's when you flash. Besides, I would think that flashing the HID's will do a number on your ballasts/inverters... I Have 6000k's on my fogs and lows and never even had the need to use my hi beams... just my .02 cents.

ok thanks for the input. I am awaiting email from hidgate as I dont want to order the wrong part. I am wanting 8000k low+fog with the mini ballast. Light output is same quality with smaller ballast, correct?
