pedders custom front 90/10 drag coils.

We are often asked about making custom dampening or dampening rates. The LX is one of great rides.

In the GTO community, the GTO which is designed for a road race application, turns out to be a pretty good drag race car if properly set up.

A Pedderized LX makes a great road race track car. We can get it to do a skid pad rating of .99g with stock 20's. With our Xas we can be be over the 1.0g range.

But then there is drag racing. Many like to make a spirited run down the 1/4 mile. Others take it very seriously.

But the drag racers have very little options. In the GTO community we make a 90/10 front strut which is designed to help lift the front end and keep it up at the critical launch. This has done some serious reductions in 60 foot times.

This post is due to multiple inquiries and requests.

To make a 90/10 front drag strut, we need to make 25 sets. these struts will be hand built and a gas strut and will cost $259 a piece. @ are required.

These struts are not for street use!! If yaur LX is dual purpose, then we recommend have 2 sets of struts, street and drag. It is pretty easy to R&R the front struts. Some of our GTOs have experienced a .1 to .2 reduction in 0-60 launched.

Those that are very serious in drag racing, would also want to strengthen up the back end with one of at least replacing all the bushings in the back. We do have a Meister Drag Package.

So this thread to to see if there is interest in a 90/10/ How it would work is if we decide it is a go, then you would have to give a 15% non refundable deposit and when they are done, balance of payment will follow.

If you have any questions, just ask

thanks
