there are many threads discussing this......the search function can be very usefeul. but to answer your question no there are no holes....the molding is simply held on by double stick tape and is fairly easy to remove. make sure to use a heatgun or at least a blowdryer to help soften up the tape before and during removal. whatever residue is left can easily be removed by the palm of your hand in a rubbing motion. good luck
