Dave Zeckhausen wrote a great response on another thread as to why not to buy the rotors from ebay. I don't recall the thread, but you could search it through looking up all posts by dzeckhausen.
The fact that your wheels weigh more and that weight is located farther out from the hub is why your brakes are underperforming. SS lines and more aggressive pads would likely do wonders for you.
If you were going to change rotors and calipers and pads and lines, you're talking a "kit" which is expensive, but worth it if you have the coin.
